To make sure that you avoid those costly mistakes, you have to understand what is happening with your ad.

By scaling too quickly or too fast, you risk throwing off the Facebook algorithm.

Basically when you launch your ad and tell Facebook all of the specifics you want to accomplish, it sets up a gameplan. This gameplan is the algorithm.

Facebook will consider the audience you choose, the budget, the ad copy and the ad creative to determine the best course of action to make your ad be successful.

Guess what happens when you edit the ad and double the budget after 1 day? That algorithm has to reset.
